Romney to Millionaire Contributors: My Job Is Not to Care About the 47 Percent that Don't Pay Taxes
Election is a contest between strivers and parasitic moochers

Romney, with disdain in his voice, tells affluent crowd at a fund-raiser what he thinks of people that vote for President Obama, per a video obtained by Mother Jones. Some images are blurred to protect sources, according to MJ.

Romney on video: "There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax."

Per MJ: Romney "indicated that he viewed the election as a battle between strivers (such as himself and the donors before him) and parasitic free-riders who lack character, fortitude, and initiative. Yet Romney explained to his patrons that he could not speak such harsh words about Obama in public, lest he insult those independent voters who sided with Obama in 2008 and whom he desperately needs in this election. These were sentiments not to be shared with the voters; it was inside information, available only to the select few who had paid for the privilege of experiencing the real Romney."

The article breaks the video up into several embeds.

One of the top features of Google Maps that has helped it to nearly decimate the personal navigation device market is the ability to search for anything in Google's vast database which far exceeds any point of interest listings in other devices.

iPhone and iPad users that upgrade to iOS6 in the coming weeks may find that are sadly disappointed with what Apple has done to their mapping app. While the 3D building renderings of San Francisco are certainly visually cool,  they really don't to much to enhance usability. Apple is now relying on Yelp listings for points of interest which are much more limited. Someday, Apple may improve the new maps app, and hopefully it will come quicker than upgrades to iTunes.

In the meantime, there's always Android

I sat down to play with the Golden Master release of iOS 6 tonight so I could familiarize myself with the software before our customers download it next week.

After the unfortunate ending of the +Nissan DeltaWing run at Le Mans, it's great to hear that the car will be back for at least one more run at the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. I'm just sorry I won't be there to see it in action.

There's no arguing with the fact that +Chrysler has made an absolutely remarkable recovery from bankruptcy and its absorption into +Fiat.  Following the bankruptcy, the company refreshed the entire lineup in just 18 months (including finishing some redesigned models that were in progress before the meltdown) and the pace has continued with development of all-new models like the Dodge Dart and the SRT Viper.

The staff at Chrysler has plenty of reason to be proud of their accomplishments. Unsurprisingly though, it looks like burnout could soon start to set out in and Sergio Marchionne may have to let his team back off a bit or risk losing many of them. Not many people my age can continue pushing forward at the same pace as 20 year old programmers in Silicon Valley for years on end.

It's absolutely inexcusable for reporters to allow politicians to have approval over stories before agreeing to an interview.  It's more important to get true and complete factual information out than to be able to proclaim that you got an interview with the candidate. If every reporter stood up to this bullshit, politicos would have to back down because they need the coverage.
