I've been a fan of the V10 powered sports car ever since I saw it on the cover of the January 1989 Road&Track.
Now with 640 hp, 600 lb-ft of torque and 100 lbs less mass.

WooHoo! The new Viper is coming back to the American Le Mans Series! The original GTS-R was a staple of the ALMS when it launched in the late 1990s and now its back to take on the 'Vettes, 458s, M3s and 911s.

+Fisker Automotive just finished up their reveal of the Atlantic, the second model line they plan to produce. The design is clearly an evolution of the Karma design language, although smaller and potentially a bit roomier.
Aside from the fact that they will use a BMW four cylinder engine as the range extender (something that was announced two years ago), Henrik Fisker and CEO Tom LaSorda didn't announce any other hardware details. Following last week's recall on defective batteries I'll be curious to see if they continue with A123 or switch to a different supplier.
Of course all that may be moot if the company can't generate enough cash to fund development of the Atlantic tool up the Wilmington Delaware plant where it is supposed to be built.

So far I'm liking +Instagram but I do have a couple of issues with it.
First, just because iOS doesn't support real desktop widgets, that's no excuse not to have one for Android.
Second, when browsing favorites, why can't we sweep left/right to get to the next/prev image?

This is amazing. An artist type named Jeff Desom "dissected" Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 thriller "Rear Window" into a single scene that plays out in chronological order.

Hybrids are no longer the only vehicles that can benefit from the ability to automatically switch off the engine when the car isn't moving.
When the 2013 +Ford Motor Company Fusion arrives later this year, the 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder will also be available with an auto start-stop system that switches off the engine when the car comes to a stop and seamlessly re-starts it when the driver releases the brake pedal. The 1.6-liter is expected to take the largest percentage of sales among the new Fusion's five powertrain options and the auto start-stop system will add just $295 to the bottom line.
Because of the EPA drive cycles that are used for calculating fuel economy estimates are set up, the benefits of auto start-stop aren't reflected on new car labels. But in the real world, the benefits can be significant.
By reducing engine idle time, drivers can save anywhere from 3.5-10% on fuel consumption especially if they spend a lot of time in stop and go traffic. At $4 a gallon, a driver that spends most of their time in city traffic could potentially save over $200 a year with auto start-stop and pay for the system in just 18 months.
