Back then, Digg.com was still relevant and this was my first story to hit the top of the front page thanks in part to links from sites like DailyKos. As an engineer and a tech geek, I was hugely excited by what +Chevrolet was proposing with the E-Flex powertrain and thought this car had so much potential. +Ford Motor Company will keep focusing on bringing advanced driver assist systems to a wider audience. I would guess that one of the German automakers will be first out of the gate with a vehicle capable of fully autonomous operation, but it will probably be in very low volumes. ?
