Yes Romney is right at almost half of Americans pay no "income" tax but nearly two-thirds of those pay a higher tax rate than Romney's 13% thanks to those payroll taxes. Of the remaining 20%, most are either unemployed or elderly.
If you work and you aren't rich, you can be pretty sure that Romney is not intent on doing anything that might help you move up the ladder.

“My job is not to worry about those people,” Mitt Romney said of the 47 percent of Americans who are likely to vote for Barack Obama. “I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”
There will be plenty said about the politics of Romney’s remarks. But I want to take a moment and talk about the larger argument behind them, because this vision of a society divided between “makers” and “takers” is core to the Republican nominee’s policy agenda.

Romney to Millionaire Contributors: My Job Is Not to Care About the 47 Percent that Don't Pay Taxes
Election is a contest between strivers and parasitic moochersRomney, with disdain in his voice, tells affluent crowd at a fund-raiser what he thinks of people that vote for President Obama, per a video obtained by Mother Jones. Some images are blurred to protect sources, according to MJ.
Romney on video: "There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax."
Per MJ: Romney "indicated that he viewed the election as a battle between strivers (such as himself and the donors before him) and parasitic free-riders who lack character, fortitude, and initiative. Yet Romney explained to his patrons that he could not speak such harsh words about Obama in public, lest he insult those independent voters who sided with Obama in 2008 and whom he desperately needs in this election. These were sentiments not to be shared with the voters; it was inside information, available only to the select few who had paid for the privilege of experiencing the real Romney."
The article breaks the video up into several embeds.

iPhone and iPad users that upgrade to iOS6 in the coming weeks may find that are sadly disappointed with what Apple has done to their mapping app. While the 3D building renderings of San Francisco are certainly visually cool, they really don't to much to enhance usability. Apple is now relying on Yelp listings for points of interest which are much more limited. Someday, Apple may improve the new maps app, and hopefully it will come quicker than upgrades to iTunes.
In the meantime, there's always Android

I sat down to play with the Golden Master release of iOS 6 tonight so I could familiarize myself with the software before our customers download it next week.
