Not convinced that human activity can can dramatically change the climate? Check out the story of Mo'ynaq in Uzbekistan. Mo'ynaq was once a thriving fishing town on the Aral Sea. Now the waterline lies 100 miles away.

    I'm not really sure that is a lesson about climate change but rather just resource usage and pollution. There are plenty of other places where the upstream use of water has downstream effects, and the Dead Sea already is shrinking like the Aral Sea (though at least Israil and Jordan are trying to stop the decline with the Red Sea canal).
