John Oliver tried valiantly but ultimately fails to get the head of the Association of Opinion Journalists to recognize the irony of her campaign to restore civility to our discourse while pointing out that she recently called the congressional republicans "economic terrorists" during the debt ceiling debate.
No wonder we are so screwed. Let's just hope that John Oliver, John Stewart, Stephen Colbert and the rest of the crew keeping pointing this all out.

Actually, the real problem is that journalisms are bending over backwards to not contest out-right lies with faux-balance replacing journalistic judgment. We need more candid language and less pussy-footing.
