Nearly two years ago, I first saw this color in a Ford design studio during an initial background preview of the 2015 Mustang and I was underwhelmed

Now seeing it on this 2015 Ford Fusion SE in the sunlight, I'm much more pleased with it. This is the first opportunity I've had to spend some quality time with the current generation Fusion after writing a lot about the car during my time on the Ford communications team. I'm really impressed with the combination of supple ride and precise driving dynamics. Unfortunately, the fuel economy is less impressive even considering the cold temperatures this week.

The 2015 Ford Expedition EL King Ranch has plenty of power under the hood, not so much inside

If you need to tow 9,000+ pounds and haul eight people in comfort, the independent rear suspension gives the +Ford Motor Company Expedition a big advantage over the competition.Just don't expect great fuel economy unless you are dividing by the number of passengers.

Before Android Central chief +Phil Nickinson flew off to cavort in sunny Spain, +Rene Ritchie and I joined him from our somewhat chillier climes last week to record a special episode of the podcast

We had a fun chat about how +Android Auto and Apple CarPlay work and hopefully I didn't get too deep in the weeds for you guys.

*Memories from my first post-college job for #throwbackthrusday *

Back in 1990, I took my freshly minted engineering degree and went to work for Delco Moraine NDH at the General Motors? Milford Proving Ground. Somehow I got really lucky and got assigned to work on the ABS programs for the Lotus M100 Elan and the Esprit X180R racer. During the spring and summer of 1991, we had one of the prototype X180Rs at Milford and my colleague Arnie Spieker and I would take it out to Black Lake several evenings a week where we set up a cone course and work on modified calibrations to work better with the racing tires. I was lucky enough to spend some quality time lead driver Doc Bundy and the rest of the team including Lotus engineer John Miles. ?
