For this week's #throwbackthursdays ?, I look back to 2007 when I joined a small group of journalists and engineers from General Motors on a 300 mile drive across New York state in a pair of fuel cell concept vehicles
Among the participants were my future colleagues John McCormick and Scott Anderson as well GM's then R&D chief Larry Burns and and advanced concepts director Chris Boronni-Bird. Last week at #Naias2015? , , and all showed their latest fuel cell vehicles with drive systems designed for mass production. GM was not showing any fuel cell technology at the show, but spokesman Tom Read confirmed that more than 200 fuel engineers are now working out of GM's powertrain engineering center in Pontiac, MI to bring their system to market by the end of this decade.?
