We don't actually have a free market for internet services in America and other companies worried about that

Republicans that like to promote a laissez faire approach to regulation of business is ok if you have enough competitors and sufficiently low friction to ensure a truly free market. Unfortunately in many segments of business today, no such free market actually exists. That's why a bunch of big companies that either currently do or will potentially depend on free communications for their business are pushing to ensure that the Comcasts and Verizons cannot artificially manipulate the broadband market. ?
