    The thing is, he wasn't actually dumb. I heard him speak a  couple of times and he was actually a fairly intelligent character (much of what he did say was taken out of context.) Not that I particularly agreed with his politics, but he wasn't what you'd call extreme.

    But the post is dead on: you think he was bad, look at what you have now. Boggles the mind.
