Awe, Corvette is crying because competition is making their sales dwindle. They probably expect the US Government to bail them out. Typical of the trend with big companies that have lost touch with what's going on for today
This is an interesting new twist on advertising. Don't just tell people your new thingie is awesome and desired by all the beautiful people. Tell them it is the only thing they really want and if they don't buy some you will take away their toy. Remember the Sheriff holding a gun to his head in Blazing Saddles? The same thing, but not funny.
