It's been 40 years since the Mustang II debuted and for much of that time is has been the black sheep of the family

+Ford Motor Company timed the debut of the Mustang II perfectly with the spike in oil prices from the 1973 Middle East embargo. It was the right car for the time and kept the Mustang lineage alive.
