I've been around the auto industry for close to three decades now including my time as an engineering co-op student. Like Angus MacKenzie I've seen a great many weird things happen. Very early in my career I even played an ever so small part in the abbreviated life cycle of M100 Lotus Elan that Angus writes about. Hopefully someday I'll have the opportunity to tell some of these stories.
