The parallels between Elon Musk’s Tesla Motors and the late Steve Jobs’ Apple are hard to ignore, as the former’s Supercharger network feels like the vehicular equivalent of what Apple created with iTunes.

    Except for the fact that Musk has said Tesla will license Superchargers to other car manufacturers that use similar battery designs as the Model S. The main reason no other EVs can use the Superchargers is because they cannot handle 80-120 kW being pumped into the battery. Try again.
