The whole EPA MPG system has been a joke since it was implemented.

I've been able to beat, significantly, tank-after-tank, MPG figures for every vehicle I've owned.

Even the STS, being a bit playful with it, I come in at 20.1-20.4 per tank, and I have some definite 'city' in my commute.
