There's something about the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta that must give the Highcroft Racing crew nightmares. During a practice session on Wednesday, the innovative DeltaWing crashed, doing heavy damage to the car. The incident was eerily similar to Scott Sharp's crash in the run-up to the 2009 race.

The damage to the Acura ARX-02a that Highcroft was campaigning then was even more extensive than the damage this time including a cracked tub.
