Gore Vidal walks into a bar with a cat on his shoulder. He orders a martini and the bartender says "That will be $20 bucks." Vidal silently finished his drink and gets up to leave. The bartender says "Say, you're Gore Vidal, aren't you? You know, we don't get many famous people in this place." Vidal said "At $20 for a martini, you won't get many more."
