    I'm not debating the morality of gay marriage, but I don't understand how a corporation aligns itself with something totally unrelated to it's business. And also, it's going to alienate a huge percentage of people that are against gay marriage from using and supporting products.

    In 10 or 20 years people are going to wonder how it took so long to get marriage equality, and why more companies and institutions weren't officially supporting equality.

    I'm not sure what Google can do by themselves, but it can't hurt.
