Are you raising chickens, +Sam Abuelsamid? Ever considered raising Indian runner ducks? I don't know if you have the space, but they're as easy to raise as chickens and are quite a bit more prolific.
I built a coop last spring and we started with a couple of hens this year. We've considered adding ducks and might do that next spring.
