Ford pioneered the use of soy foam in seat cushions starting with the 2008 Mustang. The new Fusion includes a number of different components made from either bio-based or recycled materials as explained by engineer Angela Harris.

Just not sure I'm digging the styling of the Chevy CODE130R (what's with that name?) concept. It's got a bit too much of the BMW 1-series about it, and while the German drives great, it's not all that easy on the eyes.

On the other hand if a car this size is the direction that GM is taking with the next generation Camaro, things could get very interesting. Put a Camaro this size on the new lightweight platform that debuted in the Cadillac ATS last night with a direct injected small block and LOOK OUT!

Can't wait to see what Ford comes up with for the 50th anniversary of the Mustang two years hence. Interesting times indeed!
