The +Motley Fool considers why +Ford Motor Company would put a Mustang on the Empire State Building
For all car brands, doing promotional activities with a halo model like Mustang is about much more than just selling that one particular model. Halo cars can lift an entire brand's image and sell mainstream vehicles too. ?
Next time your idea is rejected, just think of what happened to this guy?
Don Sherman takes a look how +Ford Motor Company selectively used some cast iron in the new aluminum-intensive F-150
The all-new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that will probably be the mainline engine in the F-150 uses a cylinder block made of compacted graphite iron, a material previously only used for diesel engines. The choice of CGI allowed the engine to be lighter and smaller overall while still withstanding the pressures of twin turbocharged operation in a truck.?
Last week, Ford Mustang officially got its AARP card, the first car ever to earn one and only the second non-human?
Last week as our team of craftsmen assembled a Ford Mustang atop the Empire State Building, Matt Jones from +Top Gear paid us a visit
After chatting up the crew, he set about demonstrating why the British car industry has mostly gone the way of the dodo by mishandling some parts 🙂
Just kidding, it was great to have Matt at our little rooftop gathering.?
With that knowledge of the why, you can always derive the how, but the opposite can be much harder.
Conservatives always seem to like to fall back on the bible for excuses although they rarely live up to the most important lessons. One of the wisest things written in there is "give someone a fish and they eat for a day, teach them to fish and they eat for a lifetime"
Teaching the why is the equivalent of teach someone to fish. Sadly, those with all the power and wealth, don't want the masses to understand the why, lest they realize they are being oppressed and rise up to usurp the powerful.

Here's a comment I spotted on an article posted on +TheBlaze just now. Do you think this person is trolling or genuinely thinks that understanding why something works the way it does is harmful to children's mental state? And what is your opinion?
"These school prison camps should be teaching kids how to get math answers, not why the answer is what it is. No wonder kids get rebellious when kids are told to question everything. “Do it this way because I say so” should be enough for children. No wonder this country is falling apart."?

How Ford Hid the New Mustang From Car Spies | Autopia | Wired.com
When the first Mustang prototype rolled out of Ford’s testing facility on a rainy day in June, photos were posted on auto sites in less than an hour. But they didn’t show much.
Because the TPP like ACTA before it has been negotiated in secret, lobbyists for entrenched business interests have been able to push for dramatically increased intellectual property enforcement when we should be doing the opposite. These moves would be terrible for the public and only benefit big businesses like pharmaceutical companies and the entertainment industry. This treaty must be rejected. ?
US patent moves are ‘profoundly bad’ in leaked TPP treaty
The year’s most controversial secret treaty just became very, very public. WikiLeaks has posted a full copy of the Trans-Pacific Partnership proposals from this August, revealing many provisions…
Remember "pro-forma" earnings when Silicon Valley companies would ignore all kinds of items to make it look like they were making a profit right up until the moment they filed for bankruptcy? That's kind of what +Tesla Motors did yesterday.
Unlike those bygone net companies like WebVan and Pets.com, #Tesla is a real business and may well reach real sustained profitability at some stage. It's just not quite there yet.
The real news today is that Tesla lost $30.5 million
A closer look at Tesla’s ledger reveals the news isn’t as rosy as the headlines say. The company posted a net loss of $30.5 million last quarter, and that’s the real story.
