If you have Amazon Prime and haven't seen Deadwood, do yourself a favor and watch it

Even if you don't care for westerns and/or excessive "colorful" language, Deadwood is simply a joy to watch. It's very Shakespearean in tone and in fact much of the dialog is written in iambic pentameter. The characters are richly three-dimensional and wonderfully portrayed by a cast that includes Ian McShane, Timothy Olyphant and Anna Gunn.

Watch it, the only disappointment is that it ends prematurely after just three seasons?

A new robin's nest is coming together about 6 feet from where I'm sitting

A new robin's nest is coming together about 6 feet from where I'm sitting

Earlier this morning I saw a couple of robins collecting nesting material in the yard but I saw them fly around the end of the house toward the big honey locust tree. Then I was sitting at the table taking a break from yard work, drinking some coffee and reading and a robin landed on the railing with a beakful of nest material. After looking around for a minute it popped up into a planter right in front of me and I realized there was a nest coming together. ?

It looks like we might finally see some common sense come into the patent system as long as examiners become aware of it

It looks like we might finally see some common sense come into the patent system as long as examiners become aware of it?

Software patents aren’t dead, but they just took a blow. In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court has ruled that a series of banking patents didn’t cover a concrete software process but an…

Over the past 50 years there have probably been hundreds if not thousands of Ford Mustang proposals that never made it to production

Over the past 50 years there have probably been hundreds if not thousands of Ford Mustang proposals that never made it to production

This particular proposal put together by the crew at Roush engineering would have made an amazing 25th anniversary special. Sadly, while the engine was awesome, too many other parts of the old "Fox" simply weren't up to the task.?

SVO wanted to sell this Mustang in 1989 for $30,000, and make it fast enough to outrun the upcoming $60,000 Corvette ZR-1.
