The appeals court for the federal circuit has been completely devoid of all logic for years, and probably should be disbanded

The appeals court for the federal circuit has been completely devoid of all logic for years, and probably should be disbanded

This is the same court that recently overruled a lower court, saying that Oracle could claim copyright on the names of its application programming interfaces in their case against Google. ?

Summary: The appeals court responsible for America’s troubled patent system already has a poor reputation. News that its top judge is endorsing lawyers won’t improve that. The controversy suggests it’s time to close the court.
