How Much Can CNN Get Wrong About F1 Engines, Physics In One Article?
I think CNN must be hiring Amish kids on Rumspringa for its motorsports writers. That’s really the only way you could explain the rich, lavish ignorance of how cars work as demonstrated in this article about turbo engines returning to F1.

Back in February 1964, one of the last prototypes of the #Mustang was specially prepared for the boss as his personal car

This late prototype was equipped with a one-off interior upholstered in Lincoln leather and one of the first K-code HiPo 289 cubic inch V8s especially for Henry Ford II.  He drove it as his personal car for the next year. A decade later Art Cairo lucked out and purchased it through a classified ad and has owned it for the past 39 years.

Let me offer a small piece of advice to my G+ followers, do not armor-all to the treads of your tires

Tire treads are not supposed to be shiny.  I would assume that the owner of this otherwise lovely 1967 +Ford Motor Company  #Mustang doesn't generally drive in the rain, but even on dry pavement, this is not good for traction. This is especially true if you have installed a more modern fuel injected 5.0-liter HO V8.

It's rare that really good racing movies come around, but it looks like we have 2 in the coming weeks

Between "Snake & Mongoose" and Rush, it's a great time for racing cinema. I've never been a fan of drag racing, but I developed tremendous respect for it when I tried my hand at several years ago. http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/16/ford-racing-invitational-08-the-aftermath/

Snake & Mongoose
Given the hype, you’d think that Rush is the only 70’s-themed racing docudrama barreling toward multiplexes. You’d be wrong. Snake & Mongoose opens in limited release today. Sheila O’Malley reviews the film for R&T.
