Illinois congressional candidate compared Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson to Rosa Parks:
"In December 1955, Rosa Parks took a stand against an unjust societal persecution of black people, and in December 2013, Robertson took a stand against persecution of Christians"
Robertson is completely free to say whatever ignorant and idiotic things he wants. No one is persecuting him or stopping him from being offensive. However, just as Robertson is free to ask an uninvited trespasser to leave his property, A&E has a right not to provide a platform to spout his beliefs. ?
GOP Congressional Candidate: ‘Duck Dynasty Star Is Rosa Parks Of Our Generation’
WASHINGTON — Embattled “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson has been suspended from his show by A&E for his remarks about gays and African-Americans, and now some high-profile conservatives are rallying to his side and defending him. On Friday, GOP congressional candidate Ian Bayne went all in, comparing Robertson to civil rights icon Rosa Parks.
The road to idiocracy…we're on it.
I will no longer watch A&E in addition I am sending letters to there advertiser that I wll no longer use there products as long as this squelching of free speech continues.

+stephen hurty Robertson remains free to say anything he wants just not on A&E's dime. At the same time you are free to change the channel and watch something else and spend your money with other companies. No one's speech is being squelched here.
I …what…can't. Mind. Blown.
+Sam Abuelsamid, the second post is EHK-FUCKING-ZACKLY what I'm talking about.

Indeed: the only ones I ever hear going on about "tolerance" are the LEAST tolerant of all. Thus we see that what they really mean is not living with out fellow human beings in peace but giving them whatever they selfishly want and not complaining about it. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears" (2 Timothy 4:3.)
first off why the hell is any one even making this much of a fuzz over some anti-gay remarks that SOME STUPID IGNORANT REDNECK MADE ON TV? Oh wait let me guess, its because unlike all the other million of rednecks out there who say way worst things and are way more racists than this guy, this one is famous and has money to be sued right? Well the only real problem here is the people getting offended because no Mater what any one says, people will keep talking bad about other people. It is freedom of speech that makes it possible. And if you get offended then you have your right to act like a drama queen and make a big fuzz about it like this. But just remember, with this much whining and fuzz over removing or boycotting one person for what they said on tv is not a win for any one……there are still millions out there who will say and do much worst. Just because you haven't met them or came across them yet does not mean it will never happen to you.

What does an animated tow truck have to do with this?
