Standardized testing will inevitably lead to gaming the system whether its schools or fuel economy

It appears that a combination of perverse financial incentives and increasingly lax definitions of "disease" are leading to ever more medicating of our society? Does society benefit? Probably not, but big pharma sure does.

I would suggest an alternative, class action suit against ignorance and bigotry

I wish I could be as hopeful as some that this is a last gasp from the extreme right, I don't believe it is.

I know my children don't believe in this hateful nonsense, but as long as people like Rick Scarborough are around espousing this crap to children and simple-minded adults, this will continue. It's been 150 years since the civil war and we still have racism.

At some points news orgs really have to stop reporting this shit like it's anything other than pure, unadulterated bullshit spewed by hateful people who desperately want nothing more than to win at something … anything.

We are better than this. Our kids, thank God, will be better than this. Begone, old, white establishment.

So just how much do the Koch brothers stand to win if the US defaults?

These two are absolutely evil

Are Koch Brothers Hedging Government Default?

Here's a question I'd like to see the media investigate: Are the billionaire Koch Brothers that fund the Tea Party betting on derivatives that will soar if the U.S. government defaults on its debt?

It's a fair question to ask: Where are the rich backers of the Tea Party putting their money? We know many of us will lose if the U.S. defaults, but who stands to gain? What are those connected with Freedomworks and Americans for Prosperity, such as Tobacco and Oil industry executives, and ex-FW-CEO Dick Armey, betting on financially?

Fuck the House Tea Party Radicals!

The tea partiers are a minority of the Republican caucus and only represent about 18% of the US population.

Speaker John Boehner should grow a pair and say too hell with the radicals in his own caucus that are holding the entire government hostage and just hold a vote on a clean debt ceiling and continuing resolution bill.
