This late prototype was equipped with a one-off interior upholstered in Lincoln leather and one of the first K-code HiPo 289 cubic inch V8s especially for Henry Ford II. He drove it as his personal car for the next year. A decade later Art Cairo lucked out and purchased it through a classified ad and has owned it for the past 39 years.

Tire treads are not supposed to be shiny. I would assume that the owner of this otherwise lovely 1967 +Ford Motor Company #Mustang doesn't generally drive in the rain, but even on dry pavement, this is not good for traction. This is especially true if you have installed a more modern fuel injected 5.0-liter HO V8.
