Unless it's absolutely essential, you're almost always better off putting the payments into a box for a months and then just buying whatever you need for cash instead of lining the pockets of some scoundrel.
Broke-Ass Americans Are Getting Screwed On Rental Tires
In an economy where unemployment is rampant and household incomes have plummeted, businesses designed to further screw cash-strapped Americans out of what little money they do have happen to be booming. Among them are rental wheel and tire companies, which are doing great right now, thanks for asking!

Now, help me out here, are there breathing humans who don't understand how much of a rip off this is?
We'll not go down the path of rental tires, 'cause I can't tread lightly.
+Kelly Bradley Unfortunately judging by the number of rent-to-own businesses I see, there are a great many breathing humans that fail to understand the most basic aspects of dealing with money
Agreed.
It does not work this way:
I haz cash in my pocket, I kin go buy stuff.
People depress me sometimes. If you can't afford to buy something outright, you probably shouldn't be buying it in the first place. Exceptions for major purchases like houses and possibly cars, of course, but I was raised in a family that didn't even make payments on new vehicles. We always bought new and paid in full, so the whole idea of rent to own is completely anathema to me.
