Well this answers the question definitively, there is NOTHING that Nic Cage won't do for a large enough paycheck.

Holy rapture! Nicolas Cage gets “Left Behind”
The religious blockbuster “Left Behind” gets a hammy reboot. Who better to star than Ghost Rider himself?

Over the past 15 years, big time cycling and many other sports have become so tainted by doping that it was only a matter of time before a governing body made a decision like this.

With Lance Armstrong stripped of his seven Tour de France titles for doping, the International Cycling Union has decided to leave the titles vacant in lieu of trying to find someone that hasn't been sullied by the scandals.

The shamed cyclist is stripped of his seven victories, but there’s hardly a clean record among his competitors

I've been ranting about open source voting for many years dating back to at least 2006
https://sam.abuelsamid.com/2006/06/02/open-source-voting/

Frankly there is absolutely no justification for elections to be controlled or run by private for-profit enterprises that have may potentially have a vested financial interest in the outcome. All voting mechanisms should be completely open-source whether they are hardware or software based with physical hard copies to verify every single vote that is cast. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Watching the Petit Le Mans stream on ESPN3 I just caught a bit of news that I've missed previously about Dyson Racing running a hybrid system. Dyson's #16 Lola B12/60 is equipped with a mechanical flywheel-based KERS (kinetic energy recovery system) developed by Flybrid Systems http://www.flybridsystems.com/

Unlike the Williams F1 developed electrocmechanical flywheel system that we saw at PLM in 2010 http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/alternative-fuel/hybrids/porsche-911-gt3r-hybrid-flywheel, the Flybrid is completely mechanical with no electrons involved. As such the system is lighter although it may not be as flexible because it has to be geared into the conventional drive system. The system that was used by Porsche and in this years Le Mans winning Audi R18 e-tron sends electricity back to a pair of electric motors driving the front wheels.

This isn't Dyson's first foray into alternative energy in ALMS. Since 2010, the Mazda-powered Lolas have been fueled by isobutanol produced from biomass.
