Over the past 15 years, big time cycling and many other sports have become so tainted by doping that it was only a matter of time before a governing body made a decision like this.
With Lance Armstrong stripped of his seven Tour de France titles for doping, the International Cycling Union has decided to leave the titles vacant in lieu of trying to find someone that hasn't been sullied by the scandals.
