Unsurprisingly, it looks like Cadillac has stuck pretty close to the concept design with the production ELR. Given that the luxury extended range EV is pretty small, it clearly hasn't moved to another platform and it's unlikely to have a significantly different powertrain.

Most likely an interim version with various incremental improvements. GM has already been rolling out updates to the 2013 Volt and there will probably be more for the ELR. I don't think a full Gen2 version will arrive until CY 2014
