-A concealed-carry weapons permit is a valid form or identifcation to vote
-A student ID is not
Gee, does it sound like someone is trying to rig the elections?

It is much more difficult to get a concealed-carry permit than a student ID, even in Texas, where probably 50% of graduate students are from foreign countries. Drink another cup of coffee and wake up your tired brain cells, your argument is thoughtless and parrots a crappy worldview.
+Walter Lounsbery the truth is there has never been any significant evidence of widespread voter fraud to justify the lengths that republicans go to make voting more difficult
Whether ID should be required or not is certainly up for debate. But a student ID is not issued by or regulated by the government. There are good arguments both for and against requiring ID to vote, but if ID is to be required, it makes sense to limit it to government issued ID.
No.
"No" to the original statement ("someone's trying to rig the election") or "no" to one of the comments?
+Sam Abuelsamid , Sam, Sam. you didn't have that coffee, did you? There has been plenty of evidence of voter fraud just this past year. Those successful lawsuits against ACORN didn't even happen? Don't try to argue your points by denying reality, it just makes you look uninformed.
BTW, some schmuck from Texas flew 1500 miles last week to testify that it was too hard to get a Voter ID in Texas. You know, every time I get on a commercial aircraft, I've got to have an ID (I usually use my passport). In fact, I have to have an ID to fly my own aircraft. Difficult is a relative thing for the brain-dead zombies out there, isn't it?
I always love the argument that "there has never been voter fraud"
That is a bit like never having lice check day at a grade school then stating your school has never had a case of lice.

Vote early, vote often!!!
