Google’s new Nexus 7 tablet has some impressive hardware beneath its sleek, stunt driver-styled skin — impressive enough, in some ways, to go toe-to-toe with Apple's iPad.     Glad to see at least some companies are still keeping (physical) tinkerer consumers in mind. Come to think of it, pretty much everything Google makes or has direct influence over is made with tinkering in mind, both physical and digital.
