This is what the Supreme Court has wrought with the insane Citizens United case 2

It's time for a constitutional amendment that makes clear that corporations are NOT persons and enables proper limits on campaign spending.

A123 Systems may not be able to survive much longer as an independent company 5

The lithium ion battery maker is facing some steep losses as a result of slow uptake of hybrid and electric vehicles using its batteries and a major recall of Fisker Karmas.

While A123's latest financial filing raises doubts about its ability to continue as a going concern, I doubt the company will go away completely since they have some solid technology and several high profile customers including +BMW +General Motors and +Fisker Automotive. My guess is that some other big supplier or battery maker will scoop up A123 at a fire sale price within the next few months. I'd look for companies including Bosch, Continental or perhaps even TRW as suitors.

Packaging any modern car is a challenge

The engineers and designers have to pack powertrains, electronic systems, passenger and cargo space and make sure everyone stays safe.

But that's nothing compared to the task of fitting all the bits in the road going missile that is a modern Formula One car. The Sauber F1 team took one of its cars from a couple of years ago and sliced it right down the middle to show off what goes into one of these amazing machines.

This is absolutely disgraceful. 4

The Texas constitution states:
"No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office, or public trust, in this State; nor shall any one be excluded from holding office on account of his religious sentiments, provided he acknowledge the existence of a Supreme Being."

Meanwhile in Mississippi the constitution says:
"No person who denies the existence of a Supreme Being shall hold any office in this state."

Where is the first amendment when we really need it? No matter where you stand on the political spectrum there have been Presidents on the other side that you probably felt were despicable and even un-American and not one of them has been an open Atheist. I say it's long past time to remove these religious requirements and elect some Atheists to see what they can do. It certainly can't get any worse.
