Ford Transit to Get Diesel for U.S.
Ford just announced it will offer a new (for North America) diesel engine in the coming 2013 Transit. This news comes on the heels of Ford's earlier announcement that the full-size van will get the popular 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine.
Exact power outputs for the EcoBoost in the Transit have not been released, but Ford says the new van will offer at least 25 percent better fuel economy (in all configurations) than the E-Series van it replaces, weighing as much as 300 pounds less as well.

Australian Regulators Throwing a Wobbly Over 4G iPad Branding
If the new iPad cannot connect to the 4G LTE networks in Australia, then Apple shouldn’t have marketed it as a 4G device in that country.
So says the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, which today accused Apple of misleading consumers about the iPad’s true capabilities, in violation of Australian law.

You should have seen my daughter's reaction to this today when CNN showed it. She was disgusted and looked me and asked,"This guy thought he could be president?"

I just laughed and told her I didn't get it either.

It's long past time for the US to move beyond the greenback and start making currency in different colors for the various denominations like the rest of the world. Something like this that should be more durable would be a good idea as well.

Whether it's a cluttered look, poor functionality or just a lack of useful information, there are many ways to fail, and many of the worst sites hit all of these points.

Then there are the zombie sites that hang around with no apparent purpose. Case in point is Oldsmobile.com. The oldest of +General Motors brands began in 1897 but it finally shut down for good in 2004 after an extended wind-down. For some reason the brand site is still out there although at least the links take you to other GM sites to find dealers and parts or new vehicles from the surviving brands.
