    So basically what I ended up taking away from this article is that Republicans end up in office through obfuscation and confusion. Can't say I'm surprised, but it is saddening. I've noticed this particular correlation before too, as well as other oddities from the GOP like doing everything possible to protect the "life" of a fetus from conception, but being perfectly willing to sentence adult humans to death.

    I wonder if any of the people mentioned in this article would change their minds or parties if they realized they would lose their own benefits if things happened as their party intended.
