I can only hope that Google will in fact take a more hands-on approach to Motorola than they have indicated so far. If not my current Droid 3 may well be my last Moto phone.
One thing is certain though. As soon as there is an ICS rom for the D3 that has a working camera, I'll be flashing because this is just ridiculous.

I can only hope my Droid X2 eventually gets an upgrade, if not it may also be my last Moto phone.
I wouldn't count on it.
+Sam Abuelsamid I'm not..it's sad too, because the phone is broken in so many ways in it's current state.
+Kevin Medeiros I've had ICS running on my son's Samsung Fascinate for nearly 2 months without issue, something that will never happen from the manufacturer. The current D3 ICS rom apparently works pretty well aside from the camera. As soon as that is sorted, I'm flashing.
Hopefully the cyanogen crew will soon have official ICS builds for both the D3 and X2
I am still waiting for SD card support in the Motorola Xoom in any Android version. I can read from the SD Card but can't write. Current releases of ICS don't include SD Card write support for the Xoom tablet. Ah the joys of being an early adopter.
Will things get better with Google owning Motorola, probably. But then again. I am also a Palm user. I love good technology, but hate companies that fail to understand their own products or customers.
It is little wonder Apple continues to kick butt.
+Steve Pierce I thought Honeycomb 3.2 added R/W support for the microsd?
Android 3.2 only added read support for the SD Card. You can't write to the card or store apps on the card.
I'm currently waiting for the Droid 3 ICS builds to get the camera working and then I'm moving over. I've had ICS running on my son's samsung fascinate since mid-december with no notable problems and I've dabbled with it on my OG Droid that I use as a media player.
Hopefully CyanogenMod 9 will be released soon.
