If there really is any kind of diety (which I don't believe there is) why the hell would it/she/he give a damn about the outcome of a football game while allowing all the bad shit that happens in this world to continue unabated?

Heh, I actually liked that you gave us your (and Johnny's) unvarnished opinion. There is no reason why you should pander to other people's whims or sensitivities if it means you need to censor yourself when stating matters of personal opinion.
