The photo here is interesting for two reasons, the bird and number of aircraft

The image that shows a vulture seemingly in close proximity to the Thunderbirds F-16s actually has four aircraft despite looking like only two. It was the last in a sequence with the four planes in a diamond formation with the two closer planes in near perfect alignment with the farther pair as they passed below the bird. ?

On my way home from my final day at the old job, a quartet of F-16s in a tight diamond formation flew across I-94 in front of me

It was the Thunderbirds practicing for tomorrow's Thunder over Michigan airshow at Willow Run airport in Ypsilanti, MI. I got off at the next exit and swung around to the north side of the airport to take some photos. Here are all six planes in delta formation
