Google fiber
Google is currently soliciting nominations for cities across the country to participate in its fiber to the home trial. The search and advertising giant wants to supply 1+ Gbps internet service through a fiber optic network at affordable prices.
If Ypsilanti were to be included in this trial it could help attract technology businesses to our community based on being able to affordable and reliable high speed internet service.
