February 12, 2007 BOE meeting

The recording of the Feb. 12 Board of Education meeting is online now at this page. You can download a copy of the presentation from the reproductive health education advisory committee over here.   If you want to see the presentation and ask questions, it will be presented again on February 27, 2007 in the media center at East Middle School at 6pm.

    Thanks Sam for the work of attending these meetings and getting them recorded for the public. It was a very long meeting and we were unable to get started till after 9:00 PM but it was worth it. Now for the hardest part, implementation.

    The most important thing for a functioning democracy is an informed electorate. People need to be aware of what’s going on, be it in congress or at the local school board level. I just want do my little bit to make that information available, be it through recording and publishing what goes on the community, or publishing my opinions on this site.
